The GTalk2VoIP team have released a new free application, that goes hand-in-hand with their Google Talk 2 Voice over IP service, for mobile phones.

Talkonaut works on almost all J2ME enabled phones (providing you have a GPRS connection). You can use any Jabber account, including Google Talk and can communicate with other networks. Talkonaut utilises the GTalk2VoIP network to make cheap calls to mobile and landline phones.

On top of all this, the program mimics Google Talk's appearance (note the image above) and is available free of charge! (Note: to call mobiles and landlines, credit purchase is required).
