You can now add Google Talk to your Google Personalized Homepage. The Google Talk Gadget lets you see your contacts and chat with friends right on your homepage, and it doesn't require a download. You can even add the Google Talk Gadget to your own web page or blog by pasting a single line of code into your site.

The new client is Flash based, has tabs, video and photo sharing (that is YouTube and Picasa) and it rocks :P With it's launch, Google Talk got a new redesigned website to promote it. You can also check the About page where you can see feature comparisons between the desktop and the web application and some screen shots.



Because of it's size and purpose, it can only have up to 4 tabs open at the same time. If a new tab is opened, the first one will be replaced by it.

Reviews are popping up all over the net. People like it and some say that's it's better than the desktop application. The Talkabout post ends with something like this: "So give it a try, let us know what you think, and keep an eye out for lots of improvements to come!" Our reply: You bet it!
