Current Status: Possible Fake? (update by wumpus: yep it's fake)

While I can find no official evidence for this, many Chinese Google Talk fansites are talking about a new version, Google Talk 1.0.0.94. This is the first we have heard about the next Google Talk version in a long while, almost 1/4 year.

Unfortunatly, I have not been able to run the setup file as it needs a special version of Windows.



If anyone could please tell us what this says, we would greatly appreciate it :)

One interesting feature that came up is:

If anybody has more information about this, please comment in the forums so that we can update this article so everyone is informed.

Note: The window style on that message box is my own windows theme, not a new style from Google.

Update 1: I'm in :) To run the setup, create a shortcut and add the parameter "/S upgrade". More information soon...

Update 2: Bad news everyone :( Not only does it say that it's version 1.0.0.92, the update page, which I found is http://tools.google.com/googletalk/google-talk-versioncheck-zh-CN.txt for the Chinese Google Talk, also says 1.0.0.92. However, I have not been able to find the beta / testing version. If anyone does, again, let us know :)
